None of this matters if Kansas Citians don’t recognize the overwhelming benefit of buying local food over industrial food. We have to build the demand. Our content will focus on teaching Kansas City residents why local food is the best choice nutritionally, the economic impact it has, and what’s available to them.

We’ll also educate small food growers and makers on the best business practices and support them in running their businesses as efficiently and effectively as possible. We want them to be able to spend time growing or making food, not dealing with business issues they are unfamiliar with (more on that below).

If food consumers are educated on their food choices, and producers know how to provide it to them conveniently and at a competitive price, local food will win every single time.
